Home Automation Applications

Eliminating the need to concentrate on repetitive mundane household tasks leaves more time for a life of leisure; at least in theory. In practice, home automation helps to add a feeling of security at home, eliminates the need to think about making temperature adjustments, handles turning lights on and off and generally makes all those little details go away. In the cynic's eye, they only go away to be replaced by the bigger problem of having to reboot an entire house running on Windows, but that's an article for another time.
