Voice over IP
Voice over IP (VoIP) is person-to-person voice communication over broadband Internet connections. VoIP is available in a variety of formats, including software interfaces requiring a microphone and speakers connected to a PC or Mac, proprietary hardware solutions, and hardware capable of adapting traditional phone equipment to a VoIP network.
